NOXIOUS WEED LEGISLATION

From Our Own Correspondent NGATEA, Friday. “Convolvulus” and “sinking mayweed,” have been added to the Second Schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act so that they become noxious weeds when so declared by the local authority. The Hauraki Plains County Council has been moving for some time to have the stinking'mayweed so declared as it is gaining a hold about the saleyards of the County.
