VICTORIA, DEVONPORT “Tonight at Twelve,” which will be shown at the Victoria Theatre again this evening, is one of the most exciting of the mystery-thrillers yet made. The plot is a most intriguing on© and is told so clearly as to maintain tho suspense until the end. Madge Bellamy is the star, and is supported by Vera Reynolds, George Dewis and Margaret Divingston. * Enjoyable talkie supports are also being shown. BRITANNIA, THREE LAMPS “The Black Watch” will be shown at the Britannia Theatre again this evening. This is the stirring life of the adventures of an officer of the famous Scottish Highland regiment which created so much interest in Auckland a little while ago. Victor McDaglen is the star, and much of the story takes place on the frontier in India. Particular interest centres in the tine views of the BlackH Watch regiment entraining for the front and in the officers’ mess. The voices are particularly good.
