Ri\Y’S FIRST APPEARANCE the reputation of being an extraordinarily clever wrestler, who has won the name of "The man with a thousand holds," Tom Ray, of America, will make his first appearance in Auckland on Monday evening when he will wrestle the well-per-formed Finn, Alex. Lundyn. Since his arrival here just more than a month ago Ray has been in constant training and reports himself to be in excellent condition, and although he has never seen Lundyn wrestle, he is confident of lowering the Finn's colours. Ray does not depend on strength to beat his man but on science, and ho is reputed to have some very formidable combinations for scoring falls. Lundyn’s past performances are well knc *n.
