MEAGRE WOOL OFFERING
FIRST WINTER SALE The catalogue is meagre for the first winter wool sale to be held in Auckland at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, in the Chamber of Commerce. Of the 680 bales to be offered, only 100 to 150 are fleece. Oddments make up the remainder. The offering is exceptionally small, because nearly 10,000 bales were held over from the regular sales in Auckland in the past season. A large attendance of outside buyers is not expected, but. there have been several inquiries from the South. The next wool salo in Auckland will be held in September.
