Soccer Championship
PONIES PLAY CELTS
Tomorrow’s Good Programme
THE Soccer championship series will be continued tomorrow, and the meeting of Ponsonby and Celtic should provide a particularly lively clash. Celts are running on Ponies’ heels a point behind in the championship race, and the game has an important bearing on the ladder positions. The meeting of Y.M.C.A. and Corinthians in the early game should be an attractive curtain-raiser. Onehunga and Manurewa meet at Walker Park, but, owing to Trams beingall called on for duty at Eden Park, the match with Thistle has to be held over.
