TRIBUTE TO SIR JOSEPH WARD SUGGESnON IN HOUSE THE SVK'S ParliametUarp Reporter PARLIAMENT BLDGS.. Today Special notice -was given by Mr. J. S. Fletcher (Grey Lynn) in the House today to ask the Prime Minister if the Government would consider the immediate erection establishment of a rest-home in tb* Hauraki Gulf as a memorial to the late Sir Joseph Ward. During his last visit to Auckland. Sir Joseph Ward, speaking in IS* Town Hall, had stated his Governmeis was introducing legislation to provide rest-homes.
