A letter, received by the One Tree Hill Borough Council at* meeting last evening, complained of the noise issuing from the o»d Fire Station in Green Lane on certain nights. . The Mayor. Mr. J. S. Hardwicks: Why, it’s ridiculous. I myself along to a lodge meeting one mjw and there was comparatively no noise. And as for the other—' why, it’s a women’s nightCr. Mulholland (with a hash o* inspiration): Well! that account* for the noise!
