DANCING AND CARDS ENTERTAIN GUESTS AT FAREWELL EVENING * v «V J ol| y evening was spent on Monday at the Oriental Rendezvous, Mangere, when a farewell party was given by Mr. and Mrs. fL Hyauiason, of Onehunga, for their son David, who is leaving for England. Novelty dances were given by Miss Smalbone, Air. C. Hyauiason and Air. L>. Hyauiason. The evening was spent in dancing and cards. Airs. Hyauiason received the guests wearing a frock of black and gold net over satin. Among those present were: Mrs. John Fuller, in black and silver gy® r . coatee; Mrs. Duckworth, black lace; Airs. Jenkins, black georgette; Mrs. W. J. Jordan, nile green crepe de chine; Airs G .Hyauiason, navy georgette; Airs. Edson. beige lace; Airs. Collins, floral georgette; Airs. F. Sand, green moire velvet; Mrs. Bartleet, senr., blue marocain; Airs. G. Hopwood, black lace and georgette, oriental bridge coat.

Shields, fawn satin beaute; Aliss Rona Warren, ecru lace over pink crepe de chine; Aliss Mavis O’Neill, georgette and lace; Miss I. Carylon, pink satin; Miss Val McCulltim. lemon lace over chiffon; Miss Doreen Kalaugher, vieux rose georgette and printed velvet; Aliss Bray, blue georgette; Aliss Simmers, kingfisher blue moire; Alisj?
