THEFT ALLEGED

EX-JOCKEY REMANDED Charged with the theft of various articles at Takapuna on March 22, 1929, George Albert Hedley Nixon, alias' George Langley, was remanded to appear at the Police Court'on July 23, by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday. Nixon, an ex-jockey, aged 34, was charged with stealing a black fox fur, a purse, four pairs of women’s stockings, a pair of men’s slippers, soap, scent and 5s in cash, the property of L. E. Wiseman.

Chief-Detective Hammond asked for a remand until July 23, which was granted by Mr. Hunt.
