COMFORTABLE MARGIN IN ARMIDALE GAME WORKED WELL TOGETHER SYDNEY, Wednesday. The New Zealand League footballers today played well against a Northwestern County team at Armidale. At half-time the scores were: New Zealand, IS; North-western County, 6. Tho game ended with the score in favour of New Zealand, 34 to 19. Tho local side included players representing the towns of Moree, Inverell, Tenterfield, and Werris Creek. The game was most interesting, the home side holding its own till well into the second half, when the New Zealanders, who displayed fine combination, added 14 points before the final whistle. Tho scorers were: Tries, Dodds and Amos, two; Gregory and Watene, two; Brisbane and Wetherill, one. Gregory converted four tries, and kicked a penalty goal.
