MRS. J. JOHNSTON The death occurred at Paterangi, on Monday, of Mrs. J. Johnston, at the age of 77 years. Mrs. Johnston had resided in the Waikato for the past 28 years and leaves an adult family. She was born at Porlrua, where her father "as one of the pioneer settlers. MR. W. L. ENGLAND The death has occurred at Mount Albert of Mr. William Lilly England, at the age of 88. Coming to New Zealand from England as a young man, was in business in Taranaki for a number of years before go*ng to Westport and Hastings. He was j launch Presbyterian. Mr. England * survived by three sons and four daughters. MRS. T. SNODGRASS * csider it of Brighton Road, Parfor 45 years, Mrs. Amelia Snod’’nT ’ has died at the age of 75. Born Um S ? on ’ Mrs. Snodgrass spent much me in Scotland before coming to kj* Zealand. She was well known in o Parnell district, where she had viwj Mrs. Snodgrass is sur‘ved by her husband, Mr. T.
