Mr. S. Coldicutt left for Wellington last evening. Major Robinson arrived on the Limited this morning. Sir George Fovvlds left for Palmerston North last evening. The Hon. G. *T. Garland, M.L.C., arrived on the Limited this morning. Mr J. It- Fow. Mayor of Hamilton, left the north-bound Limited at frankton this morning. Mr M. J. Savage, Mr. W. E. Parry rnd Mr. 'W. J. Jordan, M.P.’s, left for Wellington last evening. Mr J Madden, acting assistant nostmaster at Auckland, returned from Wellington yesterday. Mr W. A. Turner, Auckland raan■le’er for Kodak (Australasia), Limited, leaves by the Maunganui this evening on a business trip to Sydney and Melbourne. Mr G. Palmer, ticket-inspector on the Auckland railways, lias been transferred to Wellington. Before lie leaves on the Limited this evening a presentation will be made to him by the guards and porters. The Rev. J. H. Bailey, of Eketahuna, formerly of the Brooklyn Methodist Church, has accepted a unanimous call to the position of superintendent of the Pukekohe circuit. The change will take place next April, subject to the agreement of the conference. Mr. W. E. Carter, who has been mall a-ent on the Aorangi and Niagara for some years, has received notice of his promotion to be supervisor of the registration branch at the General Post office Wellington.
