COUNTRY WEEK HOCKEY
PROGRESS OF TOURNEY SECOND ROUND CONCLUDED Fast and open hockey was staged at Remuera yesterday, when the Country Week tournament was continued in tine weather. The men’s teams are playing for the White Horse Cup. and the women’s, for the Provincial Cup. Six men’s and 16 women’s teams are playing. The games will continue until Friday, when the finals will be contested. Following are the results of yesterday’s play: WHITE HORSE CUP Waipa, 5 (Wood 2, Finch 2, Spiers), v.
