A fantastic anti-Fascist plot, in which an airplane flew from France across the Alps to drop pamphlets attacking Signor Benito Mussolini, ended in disaster to Giovanni Buzzolesi, the pilot, who lost his way in a fog on returning from the successful execution of his mission and crashed on top of a pass just inside the Swiss frontier.
The Italian police marshalled their forces and snatched the literature from the excited crowds, while fast fighting machines were sent up to catch the bold raider.
