BRITISH MINISTRY PUSHING ORGANISATION PLAN MORE POWER TO INDUSTRY United V.A.—By Telegraph Copyright RUGBY, Sunday. The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Earl de la Warr, speaking at Mold yesterday, said Dr. C. Addison, Minister of Agriculture, intended to place the development of agricultural education and research in the forefront of his policy. The Government was considering the posibility of giving the views of the majority to Parliament through the Minister of Agriculture and satisfying him that any scheme submitted represented the wishes of the bulk of the producers and that the rights of minorities and of consumers had beeD considered.
Although the Government did not envisage taking power to enforce schemes of organisation upon the industry it did envisage giving to the industry power to organise itself.
