The pictures show, top left: McDougall standing Alley on his head with a double-leg hold. Top right: Alley finds himself in difficulties after applying a double-arm scissors. Lower: McDougall standing in defiant attitude after hurling his opponent through the ropes. Oval inset: The sensational melee toward the end of the seventh round. Alley can be seen getting back into the ring while McDougall is mixed up with the seconds and referee. The second to whom McDougall took exception is on the left.
