TOBACCO STOLEN
PONSONBY SHOP ENTERED Crawling through the hack window, an intruder decamped with a quantity of tobacco from a shop in Jervois Road on Saturday evening. The shop was situated at 230 Jervois Road, and the occupier, Mr. Gordon Thompson. was absent on Saturday evening returning about 11 p.m. to find that the premises had been entered. As far as is known, nothing beyond the tobacco was taken.
