Nominations in The Sun’s steal popularity campaign wiil close on July ' 26, one week from Saturday. New contestants may enter the race any time up to the close of business on that day, but not after that. The Campaign Department will make the count of votes on July 26, and all contes-; tants who have turned in at least £lO in subscription money up to that time will be entered in the final published list, and will positively be assured of winning a prize. After the count of votes on July 26 the ballot-box on the Campaign Department will be locked, and the votes turned in will not be counted again until counted by the judges on the final night—August 2. %V slot will be left open in the top of the ballotbox, and all during the last week—from July 26 to August 2—contestants may deposit their reserve or secret votes in the ballot-box. Every ballot —both subscription and bonus ballots — must be in the ballot box by 4 p.m. August 2. It makes no difference how many ballots contestants may have in their possession—unless the ballots are actually in the campaign office. The Sun Building, Auckland, by 4 p.m. on the last day of the race, they cannot be counted by the judges. On the final day of the race, subscriptions which are sent in by post will not be included unless they reach the office by 4 p.m. All contestants who are in the office at that hour will be waited on, and the box will theu be turned over to the judges for the final count. The Campaign Department has carefully filed every ballot which has been cast during the campaign, and all these ballots which have been counted in the paper will be placed in the ballot-box again to be checked by the judges. The judges will be appointed by the contestants themselves. Every contestant is requested to appoint some representative to act as judge, and the judges so appointed will form a committee to make the final count.
