tralia. and when the vessel stopped at Auckland, he went ashore to make purchases. He visited all the mercers’ shops, but was unable to obtain a 19*. The last shopkeeper he called upon said to him, “You go next door you will be certain to obtain a collar to fit you there!” The wrestler stepped out of the shop nnrl noticed the place indicated was that of a harness maker. He returned to the mercer and told him that a mistake had been made as the man next door was a saddler. •'Oh no." replied the mercer, "you want a collar to fit you. He has one--a horse collar.”
