DISARMAMENT
BRITAIN MAKES PLANS FOR GENERAL CONFERENCE COMMISSION SITS SOON Reed. 12.10 p.m. RUGBY, Wednesday. Mr. Arthur Henderson, Foreign Secretary, replying to a question in the House of Commons, said it was hoped that the meeting of the Preparatory Disarmament Commission, which was fixed for November 3, would prove its filial meeting, and that the League of Nations Council would after that date be able to suggest a date for a general disarmament conference.
