The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe has set an example by wearing - New Zealand-made clothes even to his boots and tie. Lady Bledisloe also wears a frock made in New Zealand from wool grown in the Dominion. His Excellency has stressed the advisability of New Zealanders following their example. When replying to the Government welcome at Wellington last March, Lord Bledisloe said:—“Without presuming as a newcomer to offer advice, am I wrong in suggesting that unemployment can be at least mitigated by the increased consumption of the products of your own country?”
