Early Spring Feed And How to Obtain It! From the farmers' point of view the critical months of the year are August and September, and if the difficulties attached to producing feed for that period could be overcome the rest would be easy. With ewes lambing and cows coming in, the early spring months are a nightmare to the farmer who does not look ahead and make arrangements in time. Animals'in milk want grass; young sweet grass, and plenty of it. To provide this grass it is necessary to move NOW, and the move to be made is to topdress at least a reasonable area of land with WESTFIELD HIGH-GRADE super y„ at the rate of from 2 to 3 cwts. per acre Westfield Super is all water-soluble and therefore immediately available to plants. A dressing of Westfield Super applied to the pastures in July will work wonders in producing grass in August and September.
