DARGAVILLE, Wednesday. The Northern Wairoa girls’ hockey representatives defeated Whangarei at Dargaville today by five goals to two. Miss M. Montgomery (3), and Mrs. Randell (2), scored for the winners, and ! Misses Harris and K. Pickmere for j Whangarei. In the men's match, Whangarei de- j feated Northern Wairoa by one goal to j nil, Draffin scoring. Messrs. C. D. Wykes and F. L. Izod were the re- | ferees.
