GAOL FOR TWO WEEKS Admitting the theft of a suit of clothes, valued at £4, front Robert ■Donald Campbell on June 16, Charles .organ was sentenced in the Police court yeste j.lay to 1-1 days’ imprisonment. .Morgan, a labourer, aged 26, was represented by Mr. Aekins. ChiefDeteetiye Hammond said accused had oeen discharged front gaol only two days before the offence was committed, having been sentenced at Runtly for vagrancy. He had stolen the suit from one dealer and sold it to another for 6s. , Mr\ Aekins said the man was drunk. -His only previous conviction was for vagrancy. "The other 14 days did not seem much of a warning.” commented Mr. ■ K. Hunt, S.M.. imposing another similar term.
