BRIDE IN BLUSH PINK

MAIDS wear cyclamen AND BLUE hempleman—goldsbro The wedding took place in St. Sepulchre's Church, Khyber Pass, on ■Wednesday evening, of Miss Ethel Goldsbro. granddaughter of Mr. arid jlrs J. Capes, of Avondale, and Werner, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Hempleman, of Palmerston North, and late et' Auckland. The Rev. Mr. Draper performed the ceremony. The church was decorated by the girl friends of the bride. The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. M. McDougall, wore » frock of blush pink chiffon over crepe de chine. The scalloped corsage was outlined with diamente trimming, and the full skirt of pink net had a panel of silver lace, and fell in graceful folds to ankle-length. A bow of satin to tone was worn at one side and finished with .1 cluster of orange hlessom. A ha.nd-embroidered net veil, forming the train was caught to the head with a silver band and finished with clusters of pink orange blossom over each ear. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and white flowers. The bridesmaids, Miss Joyce Little, cousin of the bride, and Miss Dorothy Hempleman, sister of the bridegroom, were frooked a.like in ankle-length cyclamen georgette, with bindings of biue. Their hats of blue felt were caught, with a diamente clasp, and they carried posies of cyclamen and pink flowers. Little JOdith Humphreys was flower girl in a frock of blue georgette over pink embroidered with clusters of pink roses and she wore a .idliet cap of the same shade trimmed with silver leaves and pink and blue forget-me-pets. Her posy was of flowers to tone. The bridegroom was attended by his brothers, Mr. F. TV. Hempleman, as best mar, and Mr. F. J. Hempleman as groomsman. A reception was later held at the Domain Kiosk. where Mrs. Capes received her guests in a brown ensemble with hat to tone, and sho carried a posy of violets. Mrs. Hempleman wore a navy frock and fur coat, and her posy was of autumn shades.
