THREE TIMES CONVICTED i OF BOOKMAKING ARREST THIS MORNING Having been fined £lO and £25 for similar offences last year, Frederick James Dryland was fined £IOO in the Police Court this morning when he pleaded guilty to keeping premises,! No. 25 Swanson Chambers, as a common gaming house. Dryland, a clerk, aged 28, was arrested by Detective-Sergeant McHugh at 10.30 this morning. According to Chief-Detective Hammond a quantity of betting material was i’ojfnd on the premises. * Dryland was not the principal in the firm.
