ANOTHER CYCLING ROW

CONTROL OF ROAD RACE Press Association AVELLINGTON, Thursday. Trouble in the cycling world has broken out in a new place. Tlie Port Nicholson Amateur Road Cycling Club, which is affiliated with the New Zealand Union of Cyclists, recently announced that it would take charge of the annual amateur road race from Palmerston North to Wellington. This is contradicted by tlie president of the AA'ellington Centre of the Amateur Athletic Association, who says the race has always been run by his association. This year the 100 miles New Zealand amateur handicap will be run in conjunction with the road race and will be open only to cyclists registered with the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association.
