I I 1 FOLIAGE DECORATES HALL The Auckland University College Engineering and Architectural Societies gave a delightful' dance in the college hall on Saturday evening. The lobby and ball were artistically decorated with largo clumps of bamboo and flax and the stage was arranged to represent the two sections of the societies. Mrs. Chisholm chose a gown of black silk lace. Mrs. Crookes was wearing a pretty frock of pale blue corded taffeta. Mrs. Dawson’s frock was of biscuit shaded fish net over satin. Mrs. Jebson wore a frock of airforce blue souple satin. Miss Bourne was gowned In cameo pink georgette with deep hem of black. Miss M. Miss Bishop chose a gown of mist blue silk lace. Miss Bell had on a frock of patterned ninon in shades of apricot. Miss N. Broady was wearing a pretty frock of deep cream sprigged ninon over satin. Miss E. Leitz chose a gown of forest green satin beaute relieved with silver sequined flower. Miss IX Buckley wore a frock of leaf green taffeta. Miss D. Wills was in a flared frock of powder blue. Miss J. Rotherham was gowned in rose taffeta relieved with lace. Miss Datthner had chosen a frock of black georgette. Miss R. Kenny was in a sunrise pink floral taffeta frock. Miss Stewart’s dainty frock was of white frilled tulle. Miss M. O’Brien chose a dance frock of cyclamen corded taffeta. Miss Anderson was wearing shrimp pink taffeta. Cyclamen taffeta and net was chosen by Miss Alfreda Souter. Miss M. Gallagher had on liberty blue silk lace. Miss P. Miller’s frock was of primrose sprigged ninon. Miss K. Bailey was wearing a frock of floral ninon. Miss Ruth Hawkins was in a. turquoise blue georgette frock. Miss B. Fotheringham chose a gown of black ring velvet.
