A SUCCESSFUL YEAR Another very successful year is recorded in the second annual report of The Reliance Doan, Mortgage and Discount Corporation, Btd. The net profit for the year amounts to £5.278 19s lOd after writing back £3,350 as interest accruing and providing a reserve of £1.419 for income tax. This, together with the amount of £ll9 5s 3d carried forward from last year, makes £5,398 5s Id available for distribution.

The directors recommend the payment of dividends of 10 per cent, on the ordinary shares and 8 per cent, on the preference shares. These dividends together with the sum of £2,038 13s 3d already paid as interim dividend, will absorb £5.054 11s 7d, leaving a balance of £343 13s Od to be carried forward.
