Their Excellencies the Governorrenerul and Lady Bledisloe visited the Auckland Grammar School this mornin&omorro\v his Excellency will attend ,he Kings Birthday lunch of the King's Empire Veterans at the Town Hall and in the afternoon, accompanied wf T-adv Bledisloe and party, he will attend the races at Ellerslie. * \ ball in honour of the birthday of his Majesty the Kins will be given at i-nvemment House tomorrow evening. Their Excellencies will attend St. Times Theatre on Thursday evening to vdtness the screening of “Disraeli.” Sir Thomas Sidey, Attorney-General ind Leader of the Legislative Council, arrived from Wellington on the Limited this morning. Mr Edgar Rouse, managing-director of Kodak, Ltd., arrived from Sydney this morning by the Niagara and ;s staying at the Grand Hotel. Sir Stanley Fisher, Chief Justice of Ceylon, and Lady Fisher, arrived by the Niagara this morning and will bo the guests of their Excellencies the (Jovernor-General and Lady Bledisloe , lt Government House. Sir Stanley is at present on furlough before retiring. Mr. William Hucks, who is associated with the noted English distillery tirni Gilbey’s, London, accompanied by Mrs’Hucks. has just completed a fortnight's holiday tour of the North Island. The visitors are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. Hucks was visiting Australia in trade interests, and took advantage of the time between London-bound steamers to tour North Island scenic resorts and thermal regions, which delighted him.
