BIG NUMBER EMPLOYED From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. Mr. J. A. Young. M.P.. has received advice from the Hon. E. A. Ransom stating that in the past IS months 1,067 men have been .placed on Government works from the Hamilton labour registration district, including 279 since January last. At the beginning of the present month arrangements were made for a further 100 men to be provided with employment. About half have already- started work, and instructions have been issued for an additional 30 men to do so.
