BROWNE. —On May 14, at the Auckland Hospital, the result of an accident, Bertie, the beloved youngest brother of O. E. Johnson. At Rest. HEWITT. —On May 14, at “Templeport,” 8 Clyde Street, Epsom, Sarah Jane, the beloved wife of the late Samuel Hewitt, Buckland, passed peacefully away; in her 74th year. RUSKELL. —On May 12, at Jervois Street, Pahiatua, Thomas Ruskell, youngest son of the late Thomas and Margaret Ruskell; in his 76th year. SUTHERLAND.—On May 14, 1930, at 223 Ponsonby Road, Annie, beloved wife of the late Alexander Sutherland.
SLOMAN.-On May 13, Arthur Reginald, beloved husband of Ada Sloman 200 Khyber Pass; aged 69 years.
