CHURCHES ASSISTING

RELIGIOUS WORKS IN MUSIC WEEK On the Sunday'in Music Week that is to be held throughout the Dominion, commencing on August 16, it is hoped to have the cooperation of the churches in arranging special music, organ recitals and, where possible, by making reference to the value of music and the occasion, from the pulpits. In Auckland numerous offers of co-operation have already been received from churches in the city and outlying district. In the musical life of the community church music plays a big part, and the assistance of the churches at the outset of-'the week will give the movement considerable impetus.
