THE FIRST PLANE to be used solely for commercial purposes in New Zealand arrived at the Mangere airdrome, Auckland, from Wellington yesterday. The picture, taken on the arrival of the machine, shows, left to right: Captain M. C. McGregor, who piloted the plane, Mr. L. W. Swan, secretary of the Auckland Aero Club, Mr - Ge Finn, president of the Manufacturers’ Association, Mr. G. Sara, director of Cadbury, Fry and Hudson, Ltd., who made the flight in his company’s plane, Mr. Spencer Mason, chairman of the Auckland Aero Club, Lieutenant M. Allan, and Flying Officer R.J. C opley.
