SOUTH AUCKLAND DAIRY ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING Prom Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the South Auckland Dairy Association was held today. Mr. S. A. Ferguson (Motumaoho) was unanimously re-elected president for the fifth term. A remit was approved, asking the dairy division immediately to put into operation the block system of farm inspection, and that a delegation be appointed by the National Dairy Association’s conference to bring the matter before the Minister of Agriculture. Messrs. F. IT. Anderson and W. Darrall were re-elected'directors of the association. A committee, consisting of Messrs. Dynes Fulton, S. A. Ferguson, F. H. Anderson, C. J. Parlane, H. J. Ambury and J. E. Leeson, was appointed to co-operate with various Hamilton organisations in entertaining the 400 delegates to the National Dairy Association’s conference, which will be held in Hamilton in June. Mr. W. R. Paul was appointed to supervise all the arrangements. A recommendation that the conference should give priority in its order of business to remits affecting the dairy industry was approved.
