SIX-ROOMED HOUSE BURNED

OUTBREAK AT PALMERSTON Press Association PALMERSTON N., Today. Shortly after midnight last evening the fire brigade was called to the sixroomed house of Mr. L. Orchard, in Featherston Street East. The flames had a strong hold and before they were extinguished the greater part of the dwelling had been gutted. The house was unoccupied at the time of the outbreak, the owner being absent from town. The cause of the fire is unknown.
