ELSIE LINCOLN BENEDICT
INTERNATIONAL LECTURER The International Opportunity League. through its chief Englishspeaking lecturer, Elsie Lincoln Benedict, will offer a series of lectures on self-improvement to the people of Auckland, beginning on Tuesday, May 13. in the Town Hall. Mrs. Benedict, with her husband. Ralph Paine Benedict, and their general manager, Carl E. Ward, is on her second round-the-world lecture tour, the next laps of which will take her to Australia, South Africa and England. In England she has lectured before and lias a large following. She and Mr. Benedict are the founders of the Benedict School of Opportunity, said to be the most successful lecture and extension institute in the world. They are the authors of many popular books on self-advancement and allied subjects, as well as numerous works on travel, biography and psychology. Mrs. Benedict, who is here for a very limited engagement, is said by magazine writers to be “the best known lecturer in the world." All her lectures at the Town Hall are free to the public.
