DATES RECOMMENDED AN INTERESTING LIST The following dates for Auckland provincial meetings in the 1930-31 season were yesterday recommended by the Auckland District Committee for the approval of the Racing Conference. Labour Day having been recommended for the Waikato Racing Club, it was decided to request the Waikato Hunt to select another date. Several clubs applied for extra days, but the committee had no information that any additional permits would be available. August 23, 1930—Pakuranga Hunt. September 20, 22—Avondale Jockey Club. October 4, 6—Auckland Racing Club. October 25, 27—Waikato Racing Club. November 6, B—Whangarei Racing Club. November 13, 15—Dargaville Racing Club. November 29, December I—Takapuna Jockey Club. December 13, 15—Te Ivuiti Racing Club. December 26, 29, 1930, January 1 and 2, 1931 —Auckland Racing Club.
January 10—Waipapakauri Racing Club. January 17—Bay of Islands Racing Club. January 22, 24 —Thames Jockey Club. January 29, 31—Takapuna Jockey Club. February 7—Matamata Racing Club. February 14, 16 —Rotorua Racing Club. February 28, March 2—Te Aroha Jockey Club. March 21 —Bay of Plenty Jockey Club. March 26—Opotiki Jockey Club. April 4, 6—Auckland Racing Club.
April 11, 15—Avondale Jockey Club. April 24, 27—Waikato Racing Club. May 2—Whangarei Racing Club. June 3,6, B—Auckland Racing Club. Xo applications were received from the Ohinemuri Jockey Club, Franklin Racing Club, Waipa Racing Club and Taumarunui Racing Club.
