ROYAL DOULTON

When Royal Doulton won the Summer Cup at Ellerslie at the end of December last, the manufacturers of this particular pottery ware received a Dominion paper showing the result, sent to them by their local representatives, and quite unknown to the owners of Royal Doulton, Messrs. Roulston Brothers.

A few days ago the Messrs. Roulston were pleasantly surprised to receive through the post from England two pieces of handsome Doulton ware, the gift of the manufacturers. It was a pretty compliment paid to a gallant racehorse and her sporting owners, and needless to say the unexpected gift was greatly appreciated.
