YOUNG BIRD SHOW HELD Excellent entries were received for the annual young bird show of the Auckland Yorkshire Canary Club, he'd m the Kpiphan.v Hall. Xewton on Saturday. The judge. Mr. W. A. Hanson, congratulated exhibitors on the standard of the birds, particularly those in the yellow classes. Mr. George Beeston received the award for the best bird in the show, and .special prizes were gained by Mr. George Munro, Mr. Gilbert, Miss Thorne, and Mrs. Revoy.
