An interesting little pamphlet containing general information and important figures dealing with the Republic of Chile has been received from the Chilean Consulate. With a population of 4.364,395. including 180,000 Araucanian Indians. Chile has made rapid strides during the past few years, due to the increased development of the country’s natural resources. The principal exports are copper. nitrate of soda, iodine, iron ore, coal, cereals and wool.
