HUGE LANDSLIDE
•FISHERMEN' KILLED AS HILL SLIPS INTO SEA WORKMEN RUN FOR LIVES Reed. 2.30 p.m. COPENHAGEN, Friday. A gigantic landslide at Trondhjem Fiord carried hundreds of acres of hillside to crash into the sea, forcing 300 workmen who were excavating the foundations of a factory to run % for their lives. The slip created two enormous waves, which damaged two quays, destroyed a number of small craft and drowned two fishermen.
Several shoals of herring were left high anti dry when the water receded.
