“PANTRY” AFTERNOON
BRIDE-ELECT IS GUEST AT PARTY Aliss Edna Peace, on the eve of her approaching marriage, was the guest of honour at a delightful pantry gift party given by Airs. W. K. A. Stewart at her residence, “Dalkeith,” Onewa Road, Northcote, on Tuesday afternoon, and many useful gifts were received. ’•Musical items were given by the guest of honour, Aliss Winifred Johnson and Airs. H. Hunt, jun., the accompanists being Aliss Alolly Heath, Aliss Beryl George and Mrs. F. Eades. To receive her guests, Airs. Stewart wore a striped taffeta frock of two shades of lavender. Aliss Peace was gowned in a frock of navy flounced ninon, with bands of apricot. Among the guests present were: Airs. Peace, Mrs. H. Hunt, sen., Aliss Hunt, jun., Mrs. J. Court, Airs. W. E. Richardson, the Mayoress of Northcote, Mrs. A. E. Greenslade. Airs. W. JolL Airs. F. C. T. Swinbank, Airs. I. Bear, Airs. F Eades, Mrs. A. Shutes, Airs. E. \Y. B. Herrick, Airs. A. F. Sharpe, Mrs. J. R. Beth waite. Airs. L. Robertson, Airs. J. Lockie, Airs. E. Bailey, Alisses L and N. Tremain, Miss Aluriel Shutes, Aliss Alolly Heath, Aliss Bervl George, Aliss Winifred Johnston and Aliss Alarjorie Stewart.
