“ISLAND OF DREAMS”
FABIAN CLUB ADDRESSED BY REV MR. HOBDAY The Fabian Club held its usual Saturday evening meeting in Unity Hall, Queen Street, when the Rev. Mr. Hobday gave an address on St. Columba and his times, the address being called ‘•The Island of Dreams,’ referring to lona. Mr. Hobday gave a most interesting account that showed the psychology' of the times and the spirituality of those who, through eloquence and powers of organisation, gave Christianity to .Northern Europe, i Mrs. Boswell was in the chair.
