FACTORY WORKER’S SUICIDE

The folloMing verdict Mas returned by tho jury at the inquest concerning tho death of Thomas Fleming, who died this morning: “Th© deceased met his death through shock folloMing drinking sulphuric acid, and a wound in the throat self-inflicted, while deceased was in a depressed state of mind.” The evidence shoM r ed that Fleming Mas found lying against an incline in an orchard near his house. .Although he had been suffering lately from an attack of influenza, he appeared to have no worries and was in his usual good spirits. He Mas last seen early this morning by two employees at the factory. He was a conscientious -worker and had been employed at the factory for 24 years. He was a married man M’ith six children all hoys, and Mas one of the most respected residents in th* district.
