STUDIES RESUMING More and more music teachers are fresuminsr after the holidajs. Hundreds of pupils will take their first musical lesson on Monday, but for Home there will be a brief respite until next week. New pupils will be making their first appointments during the week. Minnie Jensen, teacher of violin and Pianoforte, resumes on February' 3 at Grey Lynn, Miss C. Douglas resumes the teaching of piano and theory at her studio, Epsom, next Monday. Kathleen Judge, of Edendale, teacher of pianoforte and theory, resumes tuition on Monday. Eric Waters, pianist, resumes teaching on Monday next at the studio and at Kowhal Terrace, Epsom. Dr. Phillips, teacher of singing, the piano, and theory, does not commence until Monday. February 10. Appointments may be made. Hazel Rainey, A.S.M., L.T.C.L., of Marine Parade. Herne Bay, resumes teaching on Monday of pianoforte and theory. Clarice Williams resumes the teaching of pianoforte and harmony at the studio. Mount Albert, on Monday. \\ inifred Silver. of Marrow Xeck, resumes the teaching of pianoforte and theory by the relaxation method Pupils coached for examinations. Const, lire Winthrop, A.T.C.L., L.T.C.L, final certificate R.A.M.I R.C.M., resumes teaching at Mount Eden on Monday week. Mrs. Herbert Bloy, teacher ol' pianoforte, resumes teaching on Monday. Classes will be formed for piano duos, etc. Eva. W. Hood, solo pianist, and teacher of pianoforte, will not resume teaching until Tuesday, February 11. Classes in violin and piano playing, with special orchestral practice, will be formed by Aliss R. E. Rowlandson, 8.A.. teacher of piano. violin. and theory. Edna Woolforil, L.T.C. 1... L.L.C.M., etc., resumes the teaching of pianoforte, theory and elocution on Monday. Gladys Searell, L.A.R., A.T.C.L., who prepares pupils for all practical and theoretical examinations. .resumes teaching- on Tuesday, February 11. Amy F. Thomson. L.R.A.M., A.R.C.M., teacher of pianoforte, resumes teaching at the studio on Monday, February Florence Manden, teacelir of pianoforte, violin and voice productioncommences on Monday. Charles Wood, of Devonport, will resume the teaching of violin, viola and cello. Nellie Lingard, contralto, will resume the teaching of voice production, singing and piano. Madam Mary Towsey, teacher of singing and voice production, resumes on Monday next at he r residence, City Road. Cyril Towsey will also commence bn Monday. Mrs. Hallum. L.T.C.L.. resumes teaching at her studio, Karangalmno Road, on Tuesday next. Candidates prepared for all examinations, and pupils enrolled for class teaching. Claude Laurie. who specialises in thorough instruction in pianoforte work, resumes tuition on February 3 at his residence, ISI Great South Road. Mary Thomson. A L.C.M.. L.L.C.M.. teacher of elocution, piano and theory, recommences on Monday week. Mr. 71. Haywood, who haw been teaching voice production and singing for IS years, resumes tuition either in the city or in Devonport on Monday next. Leo Whittaker, A.T.C.L..
