Warner; “Son of the Gods.” starring Richard Barthelmess; and “In the Next Room,” featuring Jack Mulhall and Alice Day. In addition, four more scheduled productions are almost ready to go into work. They are “Playing Around,” starring Alice White; “Back Pay,” starring Corinne Griffith; “Furies,” with Lois Wilson and H. B. Warner, and “The Other Tomorrow,” starring Billie Dove. HUGE SPECTACLE WARNER BROTHERS EXCEL THEMSELVES Warner Brothers are setting out to dwarf any De Mille spectacle «ver made, in their production •‘Song of the Flame.” Spectacular sets are being used in a lavish number. 9,000 extras are being used, 1,500 voices are in the choruses, there is a troupe of 100 Russian dancers, 100 real Cossack horsemen, more than a hundred outdoor scenes, and 35 interiors. Alan Crosland, who directed “The Sea Beast,” is directing this pretentious affair, says a Hollywood correspondent.
