FLYING PARSON

REV. C. G. SCRIMGEOUR TRAINS FOR LICENCE PUPIL AT MANGERE Auckland will shortly have its first real "flying parson.” This is the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour, Methodist City Missioner, who has done such excellent work for the relief of distress in Auckland. Mr. Scrimgeour lias already made several flights, and hopes to get his A pilot licence at the end of next month. He is undergoing his training at the Mangere airdrome. Although several churchmen in New Zealand have made flights to different parts of the Dominion, Mr. Scrimgeour will be the first to obtain a licence and control an airplane.
