BUCKLAND EAST BEACH The need for the establishment of sanitaiw facilties for picnickers on Buckland East Beach has been urged upon Dr. T. J. Hughes, medical officer of health, following- a visit which he made to the beach. Residents of the district stated their requirements to the Manukau County Council, and at the council’s request have selected a site for suitable conveniences. So far no o.ction has been taken by the council. Dr. Hughes asserts that it is imperative in the interests of health and decency that the council should act Immediately in providing facilities.
