CHICAGO’S METHODS OF TAXI WAR DEAD BODIES IN CAR CHICAGO, Friday. The murder of a taxi company’s official and a chauffeur, whose bodies were found shot in a motor-car, was the outcome of a war between the taxicab companies of the city. The victims were Barney Mitchell, treasurer of the phecker Cab Company, and Glen Jackson, the driver. The men were subjected to a fusillade of shots from a limousine which was driven past them at a high speed.
